Controller
Reporting directly to the CFO who is nearing retirement, the Controller plays a vital role in managing the financial and accounting operations of the Cooperative, its subsidiaries, and managed companies. They are responsible for ensuring efficient financial management to achieve corporate objectives while minimizing fiscal exposure and ensuring the availability of funds for continuous operation. The Controller oversees monthly closeout activities and the preparation of financial statements for all managed companies and other entities as directed. Additionally, they assist in managing and supervising the employees involved in budgeting, finance, and accounting work to support organizational programs. The role requires strong financial acumen, attention to detail, and leadership skills to drive strategic financial decision-making and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
